Or so I think.
Today was the first day in weeks that I felt good. Better than good, I felt great! Except for a one hour period in which I felt like poo - which was later determined to be a case of some serious hunger! After food was in the belly and mom and baby butternut was fed, all was well.
I had a jump in my step, a smile on my face and not once was I bent over the toilet in agony! And after all this time of being tired, cranky, and in a zombie like state - it was quite the change to feel better than normal!
I hope this is a good sign for things to come. Of course as I shared this with a friend, she felt the need to reply with a story about how this exact thing happened to a friend and it wasn't because she had turned a corner into her second trimester. She had miscarried.
Thanks. Really. I don't need to hear these stories. Who even remotely thinks that these are appropriate stories to share?
I'm choosing to feel it's a turn for the better. That the second trimester (which starts next week) is going to be happy, healthy and positive!
That's right. I'm ignoring you negative nellies!
